For the second year, Old Town Theatre celebrates the holiday season with an original play based on Charles Dickens' timeless classic. Dickens wrote his novel to appeal to the people of his country on behalf of its impoverished children. He was "stricken" by society's treatment of the poor and hungry, of the plight of working children and indebted families, who were often divided and assigned to orphanages or work houses. Victorian audiences called it a "New Gospel" and lauded its message. We do as well. It just isn't Christmas without the Sprit of generosity, kindness and love.Bring your family, and join us for a special showing of this magnificent story at Old Town Theatre this Christmas. Purchase your tickets during our "Christmas in July" sale, and get great discounts on your tickets!
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY play (some adult themes and supernatural material).
